What is PyConf Hyderabad?

PyConf Hyderabad is the premier regional gathering for the Python community, bringing together those who use and develop the open-source Python programming language. Organized by the Hyderabad Python User Group (HydPy), this conference fosters knowledge sharing, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas, strengthening connections between developers and users through meaningful interactions.

Since its inception in 2017, PyConf Hyderabad has grown steadily, with successful editions in 2019, 2020, 2022 and 2025. Building on this rich legacy, we are excited to present the 6th edition of PyConf Hyderabad this year.

PyConf Hyderabad 2026 will have 2 major events: Conference, and Workshops.

  • Workshops will be held on 14 March, 2026. On the workshop day, people can attend hands-on workshops, and learn about a topic from an expert.
  • Conference will be held on 15 March, 2026. On the conference days, people connect with each other, discuss their experiences and present their ideas.

Event Features:

  • A Talk is where people do a 25 min talk, on a topic. These talks are selected through a CFP process, before the event.
  • A Lightning talk is a rapid 5 min presentation that is presented to the entire conference crowd, a great way to get a message across to the entire audience.
  • Sponsor Stalls are where you can meet companies supporting the conference. These companies use Python and are looking for Python developers. You can visit their stalls to get to know more about them, and the openings in their organization.

I want to volunteer for the conference. What should I do?

Thank you for your interest in volunteering! The volunteer registration for this edition has already closed. However, feel free to follow us on our social media channels, and we'll keep you updated if there are any future opportunities to volunteer.

Tickets

I am a speaker/volunteer at the conference. Do I need to buy a ticket?

Yes. At PyConf, everybody except speakers buys tickets. Even the event organizers buy tickets. Your ticket helps keep the event affordable for all.

What types of tickets are available for PyConf Hyderabad?

We offer a variety of tickets to suit your needs:

  • Conference Tickets:
    • Early Bird: Discounted conference pass for those who register early.
    • Regular: Standard conference pass.
    • Late: Conference pass purchased after the regular registration deadline.
  • Workshop Tickets:
    • Regular: Standard workshop pass.
    • Combo: Combined pass for both the conference and workshops.
  • Contributor: Special pass for contributors to the PyConf Hyderabad community.

When will tickets be released?

Tickets will be released in phases. Keep an eye on our website and social media channels for announcements about ticket release dates.

Is accommodation included in the ticket?

No, it doesn’t include accommodation.

Should speakers buy tickets?

PyConf Hyderabad offers tickets free of cost to the speakers as they are the main contributors for the event with their expertise.

Where can I buy tickets?

Tickets can be purchased on KonfHub as they are released.

What does the conference ticket include?

A conference ticket grants you access to:

What does the workshop ticket include?

A workshop ticket gives you access to:

  • The specific workshop you registered for

What is the "Combo" ticket?

The Combo ticket is a cost-effective option that provides access to both the conference and workshops, allowing you to enjoy the full PyConf Hyderabad experience.

What is the "Contributor" ticket?

The Contributor ticket allows us to offer some free tickets to the PyConf Hyderabad attendees.

There is a change in my plan so I can’t attend the conference. Can I get a refund?

Tickets cannot be cancelled. Some ticket types can be transferred, please send us an email at contact@hydpy.org. The ticket transfer will be processed after March 1, 2026.
